"Fuel for Thought" Opens at Epcot®
GM brings the wonder of fuel–cell technology, hybrid vehicles and
ethanol–powered cars and trucks to life with the newly opened "Fuel for Thought"
display at Walt Disney World Resort's Epcot theme park near Orlando , Fla. The
exhibit features unique, interactive components to provide "edutainment" for
visitors of all ages about advanced automotive technology and the road to a
greener future.
The exhibit is easily accessed upon exiting the thrill ride "Test Track presented by General Motors." Make sure to add this to your list of things to see the next time you visit Epcot, and if you know of friends or family who are going, encourage them to stop by.

Julie Andrews
Turns 69,
To
commemorate her birthday ,
actress/vocalist, Julie
Andrews made a special
appearance at Manhattan's
Radio City Music Hall for
the benefit of the AARP.
One of the musical numbers
she performed was 'My
Favorite Things' from the
legendary movie 'Sound Of
Music'.
Here are the
lyrics she used
(Sing It!
- If
you sing it, its especially
hysterical!!!)
Botox and nose drops and
needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and
new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied
up in string,
These are a few of my
favorite things.
Cadillacs and cataracts,
hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and
false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and
porches with swings,
These are a few of my
favorite things.
When the pipes leak, When
the bones creak,
When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my
favorite things,
And then I don't feel
so bad.
Hot tea and crumpets and
corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food
cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads
and hot meals they bring,
These are a few of my
favorite things.
Back pain, confused brains
and no need for sinnin',
Thin bones and fractures
and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our
short shrunken frames,
When we remember our
favorite things.
When the joints ache, When
the hips break,
When the eyes grow
dim,
Then I remember the great
life I've had,
And then I don't feel
so bad.
(Ms. Andrews
received a standing ovation
from the crowd
That lasted over four
minutes and repeated
encores.
Please Share Ms. Andrews' clever wit and humor with others who would appreciate it!)

Chevy Poem
Cruising in my Ford one day and getting nowhere fast.
Started thinking about the times I've seen them come in last.
When suddenly I saw a flash and heard an awesome sound.
Just the wind off that jet has spun my car around.
Luckily I caught a glimpse out of my dizzy eyes.
Suddenly it came to me that jets don't have bow ties!
That's it, I'm out, I'm walking - my car dead in the street!
Every time I get a Ford I wind up on my feet.
I should have figured out by now, I've heard my daddy say.
If you want to cruise on down the road buy a Chevrolet!

Wish we could wake up the Great Sleeping Americans!! We love our country, but our future doesn't look good.
This is an extremely powerful piece on the state of our country right now -- at this very moment. It obviously is no joke. The video is 6-minutes long, but don't let that deter you from watching it all the way through. This is not some fanatical outburst from some special interest group, but a plain language statement of how close we are to losing EVERYTHING this country was founded for. It's just plain-spoken common sense that anyone can understand. And God only knows why our government is too stupid to realize that they're flushing the USA right down the dumper. Please take the time to watch AND LISTEN to these words of wisdom.

Relive the glory days of Detroit.
It is really sad to see how the history of this wonderful City has been so irreverently treated by the black controlled municipal government that has been running it for the last 3 decades.
There is so much wonderful history that should be preserved--especially the History of the automotive history in America.
It is all right here in Detroit---doomed to the wrecking ball like J L Hudson’s.

World Map
showing what strange & dangerous things are happening right now!
This is interesting! When you click on
the website link below, a world Map
comes up showing what strange & dangerous things are happening right now in
every country in the entire world & is updated every few minutes. You can
move the map around, zero in on any one area & actually up-load the story of
what is going on. It is amazing when you can see the things that are
happening right here in the U.S., sometimes right in your own state or even
your city. Global Incident Map: There is a lot happening in our world
every minute. This "map" updates every 300 seconds...constantly 24/7.
